Over the course of the Fall 2025 semester, the Warner College communications team will send biweekly digests with tips and tricks to support making the following forms of digital media accessible:

make your course content accessible with Anthology Ally 

All course content must be digitally accessible so that students with different abilities can access and use the content successfully with assistive technology, if needed. 

This semester, CSU has acquired Anthology Ally to use in Canvas for reviewing and enhancing your course content for digital accessibility. This tool, along with the course cleanup tool in Canvas, will help you implement the RAM framework by identifying outdated material to Remove and assisting with updating what you are still actively using.

First, remove old content that doesn’t need to be shared in courses and online. Then, adapt the material that needs to remain, and make all new material in an accessible manner.

The Accessibility by Design website, offered by CSU’s Assistive Technology Resource Center, is your go-to resource for tutorials, instructions, and step-by-step guides on making your content accessible. For additional help, you can schedule a consultation with their experts through their website.

The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President and University Marketing and Communications collaborated to bring the CSU community stories and resources about accessibility at the University. Both the University and Warner College will continue to provide reminders and resources to help you along the way.
