Course Offering: Onboarding and Beyond

Onboarding and Beyond is an optional, one-credit course that will be offered spring semester 2026. It’s designed for first- and second-year students who want a more structured community experience and additional academic support. For more information about the course, click the link above.

GradSpace: Every grad student welcome

The GradSpace is located in the General Services Building and features a drop-in communal lounge for relaxation and collaboration, designated study and workspaces, and a multipurpose, semi-private room for reflection, prayer or other needs. Partners in the Outdoors Conference

Hosted by Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the conference serves as a vital platform to address the intricate balance between conservation and outdoor recreation in Colorado. The conference will be held April 27-29, 2026 at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs. Registration will open in January.

Meet Ajay Devda from India

Ajay grew up in Ratlam, India and is a Ph.D. student in the Watershed Sciences program in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Sustainability. Ajay's research aims to develop remote sensing models for managing transboundary wetlands. Read more about Ajay's research and experiences as a CSU student.

GS3: Transfer Credit Evaluation Form

Graduate students may request an evaluation of previously earned graduate-level course credits to find out if they can transfer and count toward a degree program. It is strongly recommended that graduate students do this when submitting the GS6 Program of Study form.

 

Graduate Center for Inclusive Mentoring 

The GCIM works to improve the mentoring culture at CSU to ultimately elevate the personal and professional success of graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. GCIM fosters a supportive community that strengthens mentor and mentee relationships through trainings, meaningful conversations, and skills for offering personalized advice.

 

CSU Writes

CSU Writes is a writing facilitation program for CSU’s professional researchers and academic writers who seek to boost productivity and develop sustainable writing practices for publication, submission, and degree completion.

 

Student Disability Center: Graduate Students

In 2024, one in four graduate students reported having a disability. The Student Disability Center at CSU can offer accommodations for graduate students with visible and invisible disabilities. Even if students don't have a diagnosis or don't have the resources to receive a diagnosis, the SDC can still help.

Graduate Student Showcase

Wednesday, Nov. 19 | 9:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. | LSC

Thirty Warner College students from all five departments will compete for $23,000 in scholarships at the 10th annual Graduate Student Showcase. Come support your peers who are sharing their solutions to today's most pressing environmental issues. If you're considering presenting in the future, this is a great opportunity to see what GradShow is all about.

International Friendsgiving Dinner

Thursday, Nov. 20 | 4-6 p.m. | 222 W. Laurel St. 

Join the Warner College International Affairs Committee, the Latin American Students and Scholars Organization, and SACNAS for the annual International Friendsgiving Dinner at the Conservation House. GRAD Strides group runs

Wednesdays | 4 p.m. | Administration Building

Graduate students looking to get out for a run, while also meeting new people, can join the GRAD Strides group runs on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. on the Oval in front of the Administration Building. All fitness levels are welcome - no one gets left behind! The next run is Dec. 3. Join the Grad Strides channel on Teams through the link above to stay connected.

Graduate School Commencement information

Friday, Dec. 19 | 9 a.m. | Moby Arena 

The Fall 2025 Graduate School Commencement Ceremony will be held Friday, Dec. 19 in Moby Arena. The ceremony will honor all master’s and doctoral candidates whose degrees are conferred by the Graduate School. More information can be found on their website.
