Spring 2026 Registration Dates

Registration for Spring 2026 classes begins today, Monday, Oct. 27.

Partners in the Outdoors Conference

Hosted by Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the conference serves as a vital platform to address the intricate balance between conservation and outdoor recreation in Colorado. The conference will be held April 27-29, 2026 at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs. Registration will open in January.

Graduate School deadline dates

There are several deadlines coming up for Fall 2025 M.A. and Ph.D. graduates for completing degree requirements. Be sure that to check that you're on track!

Regalia for fall Commencement Ceremony

Graduate students who plan to participate in the fall commencement ceremony must place all regalia orders by Friday, Nov. 7 to ensure delivery in time for the fall commencement ceremony. You will be unable to participate in commencement if you do not have regalia.

Graduate School Commencement information

The Fall 2025 Graduate School Commencement Ceremony will be held Friday, Dec. 19 in Moby Arena. The ceremony will honor all master’s and doctoral candidates whose degrees are conferred by the Graduate School. More information can be found on their website.

Shanelle Wikramanayake gives a presentation

Meet Shanelle Wikramanayake from Sri Lanka

Shanelle is a Ph.D. student from the Graduate Degree Program in Ecology and the Department of Biology. Warner College's International Affairs Committee highlighted Shanelle's research on how habitat fragmentation and climate change affect tropical organisms in their blog Warner Worldwide.

GS3: Transfer Credit Evaluation Form

Graduate students may request an evaluation of previously earned graduate-level course credits to find out if they can transfer and count toward a degree program. It is strongly recommended that graduate students do this when submitting the GS6 Program of Study form.

 

Graduate Center for Inclusive Mentoring 

The GCIM works to improve the mentoring culture at CSU to ultimately elevate the personal and professional success of graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. GCIM fosters a supportive community that strengthens mentor and mentee relationships through trainings, meaningful conversations, and skills for offering personalized advice.

 

CSU Writes

CSU Writes is a writing facilitation program for CSU’s professional researchers and academic writers who seek to boost productivity and develop sustainable writing practices for publication, submission, and degree completion.

 

Student Disability Center: Graduate Students

In 2024, one in four graduate students reported having a disability. The Student Disability Center at CSU can offer accommodations for graduate students with visible and invisible disabilities. Even if students don't have a diagnosis or don't have the resources to receive a diagnosis, the SDC can still help.

GRAD Strides group runs

Wednesdays | 4 p.m. | Administration Building

Graduate students looking to get out for a run, while also meeting new people, can join the GRAD Strides group runs on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. on the Oval in front of the Administration Building. All fitness levels are welcome - no one gets left behind! The next run is Oct. 29. Join the Grad Strides channel on Teams through the link above to stay connected.

Master of Conservation Leadership Symposium

Friday, Nov. 14 | 8:30 a.m.-5:15 p.m. | MSNR 142 & 345

The Warner College community is invited to the Master of Conservation Leadership Symposium where members of cohort 14 will present their conservation projects. Sessions are both in-person and on Zoom. See the full presentation schedule through the link above.

Graduate Student Showcase

Wednesday, Nov. 19 | 9:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. | LSC

Thirty Warner College students from all five departments will compete for $23,000 in scholarships at the 10th annual Graduate Student Showcase. Come support your peers who are sharing their solutions to today's most pressing environmental issues. If you're considering presenting in the future, this is a great opportunity to see what GradShow is all about.
