Dr. Eithan Kotkowski was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and completed a dual MD/PhD through the South Texas Medical Scientist Training Program. Additionally, he is a published researcher and adjunct assistant professor of Neurology and Medical Spanish at UTSA.
As a Neurologist, Dr. Kotkowski faces difficult conversations about serious chronic illnesses on a daily basis which he approaches with compassion, education and transparency. His well rounded approach emphasizes lifestyle and diet changes. He strives to make his patients as comfortable as he can by avoiding unnecessary tests and excessive medications, telling us his goal is to:
"Make sure the patient is not overburdened with medications and can live their best life without them."
