There was plenty of literacy, lights, and laughs at Cross Country's recent literacy night. Students enjoyed a fun, interactive night to encourage literacy and met author Susan Muaddi Darraj, thanks to a partnership with the Enoch Pratt Free Library. |

Mervo students recently visited UMBC as a part of an honor roll incentive. While on campus, students got the chance to watch a women's basketball game. It was a great opportunity for students to gain exposure to college and to campus life. As Principal Lawrence would say, everyone that attended had a "mervolous" day! |

Students at The Crossroads School are learning how to snowboard with The Chill Foundation! They have showed amazing perseverance and courage learning something new. Students show respect for the mountain, the gear, the program, and the instructors - all while having a blast! |

Charm City Virtual students had the chance to get together in person for the Winter Meltdown. There were lots of resources for families, coats for the students, games, and classes on how to use Schoology. |

Hamilton's middle school students participated in Learning Undefeated's Breakout Box! This inquiry-based lab had students use new and prior learning about the human body to solve an escape room. Shoutout to Ms. Buls for offering this fun and engaging learning experience. |

Maree G. Farring won a $10,000 grant from code.org to build a computer science program at the school - including purchasing things like drones and tablets. Check out WMAR's coverage. |

Bay-Brook's first grade teachers brought the Baltimore Museum of Industry's "Lights On" session to the school! Lights On teaches young learners how people communicate using light. They first learned about light communication, like the use of Morse Code, and then created a light communication device. |

| The Russian Immersion Program at Baltimore International Academy organized a special event to recognize and learn all about Russian Christmas, which is typically celebrated on January 7.
