| Hosted by Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the conference serves as a vital platform to address the intricate balance between conservation and outdoor recreation in Colorado. The conference will be held April 27-29, 2026 at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs. Registration will open in January. |

Graduate School Onboarding and Beyond Course is an optional, one-credit course that will be offered spring semester 2026. It’s designed for first- and second-year students who want to connect with peers, access valuable resources, and learn strategies to tackle common graduate school challenges like burnout and anxiety. This in-person, 8-week course is led by Sara Anne Tompkins. To register, search for course number 580A3 in RamWeb, using the subject GRAD. |

A current research project from the Department of Forest and Rangeland Stewardship explores how genetics is illuminating the lives — and challenges — of bumblebees. The video highlights how ecology Ph.D. student Laura Lukens is using genetic analysis to better understand population structure, genetic diversity, and environmental adaptation among native bumblebee species. |

| Fany Ramos-Quispe is a graduate student in the Department of Ecosystem and Sustainability Science, and from the Plurinational State of Bolivia. Her research focuses on the human mobility of Indigenous Peoples in the Upper Mamoré River basin, located in the Llanos de Moxos region of the Bolivian Amazon. As a graduate student, you have access to online career training platforms that will help you plan and prepare for your career after graduate school. With these platforms you can explore career options within and outside of academia, gain a competitive edge in your job search, and learn how to interview confidently. |

Graduate students may request an evaluation of previously earned graduate-level course credits to find out if they can transfer and count toward a degree program. It is strongly recommended that graduate students do this when submitting the GS6 Program of Study form. |
The GCIM works to improve the mentoring culture at CSU to ultimately elevate the personal and professional success of graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. GCIM fosters a supportive community that strengthens mentor and mentee relationships through trainings, meaningful conversations, and skills for offering personalized advice. |
CSU Writes is a writing facilitation program for CSU’s professional researchers and academic writers who seek to boost productivity and develop sustainable writing practices for publication, submission, and degree completion. |
In 2024, one in four graduate students reported having a disability. The Student Disability Center at CSU can offer accommodations for graduate students with visible and invisible disabilities. Even if students don't have a diagnosis or don't have the resources to receive a diagnosis, the SDC can still help. |
