Greetings Warner Community,
As we round the final corner of the spring semester, I want to pause to say thank you. The end-of-semester sprint is real, and I see the energy you're bringing to finals, capstones, thesis defenses, field season prep, and everything in between.
I also want to acknowledge how much we have to celebrate this season! This spring's awards season has been a remarkable showcase of Warner College excellence at every level. Congratulations to all our exemplary winners. Below is a list of our College, University, and external honors. Please take a moment to scroll through and recognize your colleagues, because the breadth of work honored this spring is something we should all be proud of.
Each of these recognitions reflects work that began long before earning the spotlight: hours in the field, the lab, the classroom, and the community. Take a moment and feel proud of what we've built together.
One reminder before I close: the Academic Renewal Kick-off Reception is tomorrow afternoon. Come for the conversation and stay for the company. Your voice in this work matters, and I look forward to chatting with you about it.
To our graduate students: best of luck with defenses, finals, and field season. To those finishing degrees: congratulations on what you've accomplished here. To faculty and staff: thank you for the work you do for our graduate students and for the undergraduates who rely on your teaching, mentorship, and care every day. Whatever your summer holds, I hope it includes real rest, good adventures, and time with the people who matter most.
