All College Meeting happening tomorrow 

The Fall All College meeting will be held on tomorrow, Nov. 11 from 1-3:30 p.m. in MSNR Room 345 or virtually on Teams Town Hall. The Teams link is provided below. Please view the meeting in Chrome or Edge, as Firefox tends to have compatibility issues. Light refreshments will be served. There will be an opportunity to have a professional portrait taken after the meeting in the hallway outside of Room 345. 

The meeting will include updates from all of the Dean's Office units. The full agenda can be accessed below.

Graduation Gown Lending Library

The Graduation Gown Lending Library is one of the ASCSU Environmental Affairs Department's key initiatives. The Library helps meet students’ basic needs by providing access to undergraduate regalia while also reducing waste and keeping items out of landfills. Faculty and staff are encouraged to spread the word to undergraduate students!

Administrative Professional Council's annual Winter Gear Drive

CSU’s Administrative Professional Council is launching its annual Winter Gear Drive, running from Nov. 3 to Dec. 5, to collect essential items for Homeward Alliance. For a full list of the items that are needed and the drop-off locations on campus, please visit the link above.

Donuts and Dialogue with Development

Join the Warner College development team on Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 9-11 a.m. in the Dean's Suite Lounge for Donuts and Dialogue with Matt Flick, Lauren Thornton, and Jenny Cleveland. It will also be an opportunity to meet Ali Eccleston, the college's interim managing director of development. Coffee and donuts will be served.

Updates from Warner Technology Services

  • Duo Multi-Factor Authentication will require all login and approval devices to run supported operating systems and browsers by Jan. 12, 2026. 
  • CSU is asking any employees who have not yet completed their annual training to do so this month. 
  • CSU implemented a limit on email and OneDrive storage. Review your current storage allotments through the link above.

New Workday system will change HR processes

CSU is adopting the new Workday human resources system, which will go live on Jan. 5, 2026. Requesting and approving vacation and sick leave, hiring processes, and background checks will all move to the Workday platform. Check the link above for a full list of important dates during the rollout process. 

 

Last week for open enrollment

Open enrollment ends this Friday, Nov. 14. Please review the comprehensive SOURCE article regarding open enrollment through the link above. 

 

Udall Scholarship

The 2025 – 2026 Udall Scholarship competition is now open. The scholarship is a prestigious nationally competitive award given to second- and third-year undergraduate students who have demonstrated a commitment to environmental issues OR second- and third-year undergraduate students who identify as American Indians or Alaskan Natives and would like to pursue careers in tribal public policy or Native American healthcare. The Selection Committee invites faculty and staff to recommend students for this award.

 

Mandatory Supervisor Training

Please note, all supervisors are required to complete the Mandatory Supervisor Training path through CSU’s Talent Development program. Please review your status and ensure you complete each of the trainings as soon as you can. In particular, we are asking everyone to prioritize the training, “Rules of the Road.” 

 

How-To with Oomi: Anthology Ally

All course content must be digitally accessible so that students with different abilities can access and use the content successfully with assistive technology, if needed. Anthology Ally can be used in Canvas for reviewing and enhancing your course content for digital accessibility.
